le même contraire: Per Viareggio, per favore!

Ein Reiseführer für Viareggio. Super Idee, klar, wo ich doch knapp die letzten drei Wochen dort verbracht habe. Easy. Ehm, abgesehen von der Frage - wo anfangen?

Vielleicht vorweg mit der Einschränkung, dass der Reiseführer eher nicht für sonderlich kulturell veranlagte Menschen geeignet ist. Oder auch nicht für großräumige Toskana Lieblinge, denn ich beschränke mich hier lediglich auf das Städtchen mit der riesen Uhr im Zentrum. Also ein Mini-Reiseführer quasi. Here we go.

Writing a travel report for viareggio - Bella idea and no problem. At least I spend my last three weeks in this lively town so I have lots of knowledge? Certo.. But how to start? Maybe with the first restriction. This travel guide is probably not for cultural interested traveler or widespread toscany lovers. In this case I recommend google.
I only refer to the city witch has this enormous watch in its center. To here we go:

Einkaufen

Um mit der Crème alla Crème anzufangen und diesem Blog etwas multikulturelles Wissen der Mode zu vermitteln – Ja, man kann in Viareggio shoppen. Eine Einkaufspromenade, direkt am Strand, direkt mit Meeresrauschen - traumhaft - und mit den exklusivsten Boutiquen. Exklusiv heißt aber leider auch, sucht euch vorher einen Millionär. Heißt also für mich: größtenteils blieb es beim Staunen und Vergöttern dieser italienischen Mode.

Aber keine Sorge, auch Nebengässchen und kleinere Straßen bieten Möglichkeiten für den Shoppingtipp mit kleinerer Geldbörse. Auch hier wird man fündig, glaubt mir *.*

ShoppingTo start off with the most important fact we now will add some multicultural fashion knowledge to this blog: yep - shopping in viareggio is definitely possible! Definitely.
A large promenade along the sea, sunbathing and shopping two in one! And the best part of it are all these exclusive boutiques that present the newest fashion of Italien designers. Unfortunately, exclusive means: better get yourself a millionaire who is willing to give you company. So for me it meant: look (and admire) but don't touch (or buy).
But be comforted, there are still some alleyways which offer the possibility for shopping. Trust me ;)

Essen/Trinken

So förmlich diese Aufteilung hier auch scheint, ist es nicht, alles lediglich subjektiv. Und so super die vielen Restaurants entlang der Hauptstaße am Strand auch aussehen – bitte keine Experimente mit Fleisch. Fisch, Pizza und Pasta. Va bene!

Um mein Favorit der Bars herauszustellen, ein winziger Abschnitt des ganzen nennt sich 'DiVino' und übertrifft mir Livemusik und super Getränken – ja, aller Art – jegliche Konkurrenz. Von Personal kann kaum gesprochen werden, Freunde trifft es besser.

Food/DrinksThe dividing into several paragraphs might seems formal, but it is not. Just subjective. Also might all these Italian restaurants seem very exclusive but mostly there are not. Please, no meat. Pizza, Pasta and seafood - alright. But for all anti-vegetarians: skip this part of your nutrition.

To mention something positive now I will recommend a small place that is called 'DiVino'. You will get all kind of drinks, cocktails and snacks over there. And a safe bet that you will experience good atmosphere; specially on Friday night when life music welcomes your weekend feeling. Not to talk about the bartenders: you will not call them 'waiter' but rather friends.

Strand

Um kurz noch den oberen Teil mit einzufassen: Salatfreunde aufgepasst. Insalata auf eine Tafel am Eingang klatschen kann jeder – anfertigen kann ihn ‚Irene Bar’. Ein Traum in grün. Nein, eigentlich in allen Varianten. Aufzählen würde bis Weihnachten dauern.

Ein Salat zum Mittag, Espresso und dann ab an den Strand. Perfekt. Und mit den besten Mädels kann ein Aufenthalt auch einfach mal 12 Stunden dauern. Von den Aperol Spriz fangen wir erst gar nicht an. Und auch nicht von den dazu servierten Erdbeeren mit Nutellahäubchen. Mamma Mia. Daumen hoch für den besten (!!) Aperol Spriz in ganz Viareggio!

Also, für einen Tag im komplett-rundum-sorglos-Paket: Bitte Irene Bar.

Und für alle Angsthasen, für Sicherheit bei starkem Wellengang ist ebenfalls gesorgt.

BeachWe now must mix this paragraph with the one above. Reason: salat lovers watch out! To put a salat menu outside the street might be quite easy. To prepare it also might be. But there is only this one and only beach restaurant that makes it THIS way. The right way. 'Bagno Irene' will offer you all kind of tasty salats and a perfect beach day afterwads en plus! And in case you visit in company of your best girls this beach day might last 12 hours util midnight. And in this point I have one last advice. Like aperol spriz? Trust me when I say that 'Irene bar' offers the best in town. And it is even more tasty if you have it with Fragola con Nutella *.* try it.
Finally to add something about the beach as well: For all anonymous cowards: security by lifeguards is also given, though it is now Pamela, I am sorry.
