Le commencement | Der Beginn | The beginning

Nägel mit Köpfen machen. Das war die Devise. Nach gefühlten 3 Litern Cappuccino bei Starbucks zu zweit, einem Platz mit direkter Sicht auf den GinaTricot Frühlings Sale, und einem etwas undefiniertem Gestammel über die Aussichten der Zukunft nach dem Abi - ein kurzes nachdenkliches Schweigen. Nachdenklich und außerdem vielsagend. Mit dem stetigem Blick auf die Kleiderstangen des Schaufensters brauten sich simultan zwei Gedankenverknüpfungen zusammen, die nach dem endlichen Herausplatzen, Heranreifen und züchtenden Versorgung von 3 weiteren Litern Cappuccino auf ein ‚Yes, wir machen’s’ endeten. Besser eigentlich, anfingen. So ging alles in die Startlöcher. Und so sind wir jetzt hier.

Ohne Erwartungen, aber umgeben von umso mehr Motivation und Lust – wir wollen etwas schaffen, das uns widerspiegelt. Unsere individuellen Charaktere und Leben, jene Andersartigkeit, aber dennoch die gemeinsame Liebe zu den schönen Dingen. Der gleiche Gegensatz eben. Ob es gelingt wie geplant, ist die eine fragwürdige Seite der Medaille, die Tatsache, dass wir es aber wirklich wollen und die Vergangenheit uns belehrte, dass wir als Team durchaus in der Lage sind, etwas zu kreieren, veranlasst unsere Gedanken zu Freudensprüngen. Vielleicht mit Erfolg, vielleicht auch nur für wenige Augenpaare, die unseren Weg miterleben und verfolgen. Das ist uns in diesem Moment egal. Wir tun es um unsere Leidenschaft zu teilen, um unser eigenes Sein auf eine andere Art und Weise bewusster zu erleben, es ist eine Art Experiment, ein Projekt, unser Herzstück. Wahrscheinlich sind wir selbst am gespanntesten auf das, was kommen wird. Aber die Freude überwiegt. Die Freude auf das was ist und was uns erwartet.



Crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s. That was exactly what we needed to do. While having litres of Cappuccino at Starbucks and a direct view of Gina Tricot’s Spring Sale our dubious stammering of future lead to a short break. Short but telling. Our eyes were steadily directed to the clothes’ rail but our thoughts were expanded to another level, another idea, which was why we finally ended up saying, “Yes. That’s it.” After another litre of Cappuccino, and a vague concept, we now are excitingly heading towards our new blog. And that’s why we’re here.

Without any expectations but surrounded by motivation and desire – we want to create something which mirrors and reflects us. Our individual characters and lives, that difference but still the joint love for the beautiful things. The same contrast. Whether it will work as we have planned it that’s dubious but the fact that we really WANT it and the fact that the past has taught us that we are able to succeed induces our thoughts to start cheering for joy. Maybe successfully, maybe only for a few pairs of eyes which see and follow our way. We don’t care at that moment. We do it to share our passion, to experience our own existence in a more considered way. It is kind of an experiment, a project, our heart. We are probably the ones who are the most excited about all the things which are going to happen. But the joy predominates. The excited anticipation of the future.
